Storyboard

For this task I was really struggling to think of ideas. I wasn't sure how to make anything tell the story of my topic in a very interesting way without it being a bit too literal. One of my initial ideas was to have a person reading a book and then they could go to the cinema to see the adaptation of it only to leave disappointed. I thought that this was a bit too obvious and simple.

The only other idea I liked that I came up with after lots of brainstorming was the one I have created. The idea of the words of a book flying across and trying to fit into a movie script was something I found interesting. I thought it was a cool way of showing how the same detail from a book cannot fit into a movie.

The book is a warm colour to represent it as a hot media.

The pages open and the scribbles of words comes floating out.

They move across to a blank script. The script is a light blue to show it as a cool media.

The words start imprinting on the paper...

..but not all of them can fit on. Some scribbles bounce off and fade away in the air.

We are left with the same story but with less detail than the original book.
